Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a leading Indian SUV manufacturer, has achieved 5-star safety ratings under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat-NCAP) for its Thar Roxx, XUV 3XO, and XUV400 models. These ratings solidify Mahindra’s commitment to building safe and technologically advanced SUVs. The Thar Roxx makes history as the first body-on-frame SUV to achieve a 5-star Bharat-NCAP rating, while the XUV 3XO and XUV400 underscore the company’s dedication to safety across its SUV lineup.

Thar Roxx safety features
The Thar Roxx, engineered for maximum protection, boasts a comprehensive suite of safety features. These include six airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Seatbelt Reminder (SBR) as standard across all variants. The inclusion of Level 2 ADAS features, such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and a 360-degree surround view system with Blind View Monitor, enhances situational awareness for drivers. Further safety measures are provided by the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Brake Locking Differential (BLD), bolstering control and peace of mind for every journey.
XUV 3XO safety features
The XUV 3XO prioritizes safety with a high-strength steel construction and 35 standard safety features. Key elements include six airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a 360-degree surround view system with Blind View Monitor.
The XUV 3XO also incorporates Level 2 ADAS, featuring Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keep Assist.
